Attarco Warranty Information

The following is some basic information regarding our limited warranty on the used items that we sell. For more information regarding our warranty, please call one of our stores.

Our used gasoline engines carry a standard 6 month unlimited mileage warranty. The warranty applies to the long block only (engine block and head) and does not cover any external accessories. Any item warranted will be replaced with the same item and warranted under the original terms and from original date of purchase. Warranty is void if head or any internal parts of engine are removed or disassembled. All engines sold are equipped with HEAT TABS. The warranty will be void if any of the heat tabs are missing or melted. Melting of the tab occurs at 255 degrees as a result of overheating.

Used transmissions also carry a standard 6 month warranty. The warranty applies only to the transmission itself and excludes coverage of switches, sensors, passing gear cable, speedometer gear, linkage, and torque converters.

Warranty does not cover any cost of shipping, labor, towing, installation, dismantling, reinstallation, transportation claim, or any other related labor costs. All defective items must be returned to Attarco, Inc. for inspection before a warranty item will be issued.
